Ed Volfe, Senior Pastor Ed is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. Ed and his wife Daniele are originally from Brazil. Ed received a BA in Languages and Literature from UEM (Universidade Estadual de Maringa) in 2003; a BA in Theology from UMESP (Universidade Metodista de Sao Paulo) in 2003; and a Master's degree in Theology (CMM - Christian Education) from SMU Perkins School of Theology in 2006. He was trained as a CPE (Clinical Pastoral Care) Chaplain Resident at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Ed was a Pastoral Care Chaplain at SMU, Dallas, for four years. Ed started his appointment at Boyd FUMC on July 1st, 2010. Daniele graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law on May 15, 2010, with a Master's degree in Comparative and International Law, a program offered to International lawyers. Daniele will be practicing Immigration Law out of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, very soon. Daniele has been a volunteer with JFON (Justice For Our Neighbors), a UMC organization that provides free legal services to immigrants in the US, since August, 2008.
